I've seen a lot of channels that create lil "shows" mixing silly, viral or whatever type of stupid videos and commenting on top, even doing an introduction sometimes and stuff. Those channels have all the videos monetized or at least all the vids I checked so I started a channel with that idea... and I've received copyright msgs for 2 of my first 3 videos and most content is just car accidents, silly kids joking around, animals doing cute stuff, etc. How is this possible? I replied with this to both of them: Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use

Sometimes that works for me on my other legit channels but sometimes it doesn't. What's so weird is I just used some shitty videos I found on YT...
    Any ideas? Thanks!!

IMO youtube just makes up the rules as they go.

I made a vid poking fun at ppl on twitter, who made fun of other ppls profile picts.
I barely had 100 views and tube took it down stating that I violated people rights or w/e.

Yet tube allows (example) That parody vid the guy made of rebecca black... umm shes underage and his vid was very sexually suggesting,....yet its got millions of views and RB even tried to sue to have it taken down....
Tube just makes rules up and those rules dont follow any set pattern.

I guess if you earn a lot of money for them with your videos they wont mind what you do
