I'm a music producer looking for some advice. If you go to Youtube and type in "uk drill beat" you will hear the sort of music I make. It's popular among the youth in the UK.

I've uploading for 6 months consistently 3, to 5, times a week and getting nowhere near this. I'm getting around 500 views per day over all tracks. My tracks are good and I sell to rappers.

If you take a look at the top youtubers for this keyword and look at the views you will see many close to 1 million and over. Here is one video:

This looks unnatural. It might not be, but the niche is small and competitive. My target audience is rappers. I can't imagine there's that many UK Drill rappers searching YouTube.

I a few ideas I've thought that maybe:

1. They're using a Discord or IRC for play for plays, or music producers who comment and like each others stuff. Still doesn't explain the massive view count.
2. Paying for ads within the first 24 hours to boost?
3. Paying for fake views ... but this would be very expensive I've done this before in a different niche.

Any ideas or tips?

Thanks

i have no experience with music videos onYoutube but a banned user here used to say musicians have private fake views panels.

Private view panels, interesting. I will get Googling. Thanks.

my suggestion-

Twitter - Hashtags
Facebook music groups
reddit subs
Get a little News done to make your brand have a face when searched

I've worked with music artists a few time over. Seen a few do up to 3-Million views. It's def possible.

Might as well make yourself an 'instrumental CD' and pay a stream farm for more revenue

I know what a view panel is, but when you say fake view panel, what is the fake part about? You mean they use view panels to buy

I do agree with you, except in this case.

I've checked the Twitter accounts of the big accounts and the have a very small following and when they do post there's very little engagement. I've also posted existing videos to my own sub to check if they have been uploaded elsewhere on reddit, and nope. These folk also have no news etc. Checked for backlinks, none. Any sort of spammy behavior would be reflected in the likes/dislikes/comments. It doesn't suggest spammy behavior.

In other areas of music it's possible to do very well, but in this small niche it seems a little out of place to have 2.5M views on a UK Drill instrumental track. Very few tracks from the UK Drill genre even do that well.

And yes solid idea on the instrumental CD, I've thought about this.

Almost NEVER such a thing as people getting free promotions in music today

Anybody that 'looks' to be doing thing naturally is either fraud or a fraud........... no exceptions imo..

definitely not with 2-3-and-4 people

And I actually used these methods in the last month.. They still work.

Used to work with Atlantic Records artists years ago. Industry's always hyping things now with bots.

Look u the executive over YouTube Music/ YouTube Red / whatever else

Music industry execs seized control over YouTube long ago and use it to control the music programming of people

Before like 2014 , YouTube was real music, no influence. Now, forget about it. All the success stories were scripted and nothing organic about them. At least not the 95%!

its very simple, its not organic.
most of these music channels doing such stuff resort to massive promotion.
both by bots and ads too.

the thing is they have suggestion bots that tricks algo into thinking that the content is viral.
they trick impressions.
they dont circulate their method or talk about it. they just do it on their own channels.
we will just be left scratching our heads.
you do not find such things on forums.
most likely by signing a contract with these music labels, they willl even bot your channel without you knowing and promote it.
but they never tell you what they do, even if you are under them.
their videos end up getting large amounts of views.

these people getting crazy views generally have big labels behind them pumping it.

Firstly, the performance was good and secondary try to approach some other way.

Never thought yt fame discussion will turn into a conspiracy theory.

I agree that boosting bot views is a normal practice for the music industry, but after watching the video that you cited through the plugin, I saw nothing unusual.

The fact is that now the video is ranked in the top 2-3 by keywords with a very large number of views, which gives a good growth per month. At the same time, there are enough keys with a small number of views but with low competition.

I suspect that after uploading to YouTube, the link to it was distributed to other social networks, which made it possible to get the position in simple keys. We are modern and good positions and on the main points.

For example, the key "dsavv x akz type beat"
has 4,993 low concurrency queries and the "akz type beat" key is 2.001. Since the video is in the top 1 for them, this can give initial views.

And now, having received top 3 for the key "uk drill beat" - 207.327 and top 2 "uk drill type beat" - 861.317, no wonder where 3 million views)

They are getting views by running YouTube video ads in Google Ads and this is totally safe and totally allowed as per YouTube's TOS. Many Indian muscicians get over a million views within just a few hours of their video going live in YouTube. YouTube video ads in Google Ads also leads to subscribes, likes, comments ... all natural engagements.
how much do you think they spend for this amount of views? google ads is the way to go when it comes to music

The people providing YouTube views using Google Ads, usually use churn & burn Google Ads accounts nowadays, so it is not all that expensive. Even for a million views, it is around US$700.

If the music of these artists were used in Tiktok and Reel videos, chances are it's gone viral, and then users from these two platforms would have searched for the song on YouTube.

Btw. I love UK Drill ❤️

Yeah man, looks like a thread related to getting a wide reach arose suspicions

most big channels focus on youtube recommendations over search traffic.
most of them dont care about search traffic because recommendations can bring huge traffic.

Google ads sold on smm panels or actual google ads?

Music is by far more popular than your jailbreaks and game hacks.

It's not really something that people need to boost.
Jesus.
Just check how many searches "Kim Kardashian" has.
It's not fake.

Music production is huge too. A billion of young people want to be rappers.

Recognition and being in 20 million people memory can be a significant indicator too.
I genuinely believe someone will say that Michael Jackson bought fake views on bhw.

It's fucking sad how people here think having 1m views under a music video is a huge success.
Are you jealous of something like that? I saw anyone can do it.

But people here forgot what is marketing and only think SEO is the real deal. Hahaha.
Go live under a rock.
