There’s been a surge of AI projects lately, and I’m curious: are they really doing what they’re designed to do, or is it just on paper?

For example, I noticed Quack. It’s designed to help DAOs make decisions faster and fairer using tools like Governance Passport, and it also explains complex ideas so everyone can join in. On paper, this sounds good—but what about the actual implementation?

a lot of AI projects sound great on paper, but real-world results vary. some, like quack, may genuinely improve dao decision-making, while others struggle with adoption or usability. testing and community feedback usually reveal the truth.

many ai projects sound impressive on paper, but how well they perform in reality can be different. quack could truly assist daos with decision-making and clarity, but its effectiveness depends on real-world use and user adoption.
 
I’ve tested a few and they’re clunky at best, not production-ready.
 
Only a few AI projects are actually live in production, not only on paper. The key difference is adoption, if a project is already integrated into DAOs, used by communities and showing results (like faster proposals or higher participation), then it’s being implemented.
Always check for real usage stats, GitHub commits and on-chain activity before trusting the vision.

Completely useless tooling, DAOs make their own decisions and there are emotions and other things to consider than the AI tooling cannot help with.

You do realise, it's just some chatgpt wrapper, nothing more than this, a simple API call to some service and they sell it to you as something revolutionary and wrapped in shiny paper. The industry is a joke, honestly at this point it's one gigantic scam. It's not how it used to be in the golden days where people pushed for innovation, we don't have that aspect anymore. It's a casino.

Anyway, I am particularly coping about these "AI tools" due to the lack of knowledge people have in general about the technology and some crypto communities even think their AI tooling is sentient...

AI agents are also utterly useless, but there definitely isn't a need for any tokens for 99.9% of these projects.
