    Hi all member
    I have a question about linkwheel. I'm setting up a linkwheel but i see some of web 2.0 have nofollow link in my post, so my question is
    Does my linkwheel work if anchor text is NoFollow?
    Please advice, thank you very much.

    a link is still a link + it's always good to have some nofollow mixed up so it will look more natural

    If you create a nofollow link wheel, you are killing all the advantage of link wheel.

    Search engines do no crawl nofollow links, so SE won't crawl your wheel completely and it would be a useless wheel.:p

    Completely false, i build many linkwheels using a mix of DF/NF (Livejournal is a great web 2.0 and still NFollow) and i get great results.

    I'd love to see someone test this out. Create a ALL no follow link wheel, do nothing else and see the before and after. Would be interesting to see how it compared to it's do follow variants. Particularly on a site that otherwise has all ******** links coming into it.

    The purpose of a linkwheel is to generate link juice to the money site. If you add nofollow profiles, the link juice would stop and not pass to the next link. It defeats the purpose of a linkwheel.
    ********=link juice
    Nofollow=stops link juice.

    Man... So many contradicting replies :)

    Well, I believe, the backbone of a link wheel is content. If you don't have good content then backlinks will help you in getting rank. And, if you don't have any one of them, your link wheel will sink.

    Content is what will qualify the website for onsite seo. However, the reason why we create linkwheels is for link juice. A nofollow link is really a simi broken link. Meaning that if you click on it you will still be able to get to the site but google will not award it any link juice. in other words, if you have do follow links backlinked to a nofollow link, and that nofollow linked to your money site, there will be no link juice incoming.

    The reason why i'm following up on this thread is because I just read an article explaining nofollow / link juice. Its a short read.
