Hello, Blackhatworld! This is bornformoney, have you forgotten me already? Yeah I know, haven?t been too active these days, but doing my best to do so. Anyway, this is one of those posts that's quite long but informative. So don?t get bored, I?ll do my best to throw in some jokes and spice it up? Anyway, Today is one remarkable day to me in my life. It has exactly been 1 Year, 1 Month and 1 Day since I started Internet Marketing. I remember exactly one year back I was clueless as to what there is on the internet, financial wise. I was 17 at that time. Now I am 18. Ok, since some of you may already know, my name is Vish and I am from Vancouver, Canada. So, when did I start making money online? How did I start it? Why did I start it? I simply started it to make some extra cash to buy gadgets. As I always say, I haven?t had an opportunity to work at a real job as no one really hired me. No idea why, but almost got 50+ resumes rejected. Yes that?s my personal record lol. Since I come from a south Asian background, there was a ton of pressure at home, as I was the only ?useless? kid around with no real work. My parents always thought, I am not fit for anything?anyway not going to get into that. I haven?t realized how much shit I got into, until it really hit the fan. I failed my CGA (it?s like second to CA in Canada) accounting course and that?s when I knew I have to either make it or lose it. Hence my quest began with a powerful keyword, ?how to make money online?. I came across a ton of crap. The very first thing that I came across was MLM (multi level marketing) ? it?s like you refer one person?he refers one other?and one other?a huge downline?god knows what happens next?I?m going to fall on Jupiter? No idea. I did a little research on that idea, and found out almost all ML programs fail/scams in their first few months. This wasn?t really a sustainable idea. Good thing I did some thorough market research before jumping into things with full potential. After I ruled out that thought, my brain went back to the PTC (paid to click) stuff I did back in 2008. I have never cashed out as it was way way way too boring and half the crap out there is scam. So what to do? I took a few days break?and did the same keyword search again, and this time I have come across, what happened to change my entire career, was an affiliate blog. I was very new to the term, ?affiliate?. A quick Wikipedia search revealed a few more details which got me quite a long way. So now that I knew what affiliate and marketing means, I started looking to join affiliate marketing communities where all these affiliates hang out and discuss ideas. That?s exactly when I came across four forums. BHW, ***, DP, WF. DP always had a different feel to it and I never really was accustomed there. On WF, most of the focus was on some BS, and guess what I stepped in this field with ZERO money, so fortunately I haven?t had the opportunity to purchase any products. I started reading BHW all day long, everyday?sometimes spent 3 to 4 days straight, just learning as much as I can. It was all so confusing and frustrating. Way too many terms, adsense, PPC, SEO, pigs ass, bla bla bla? Out of all, one thing really fascinated me, and that was CPA. CPA is also an accounting designation, widely used in USA. So I had an opportunity to confuse my parents, that I was ALSO doing CPA lol. So slowly I read about CPA and found out what CPA networks are and all that, and soon discovered that I need a website and a few other things to function. I was back to square one. It really depressed me as there was nothing else to do? I went back on the internet again, and started looking at how do these top websites actually make money and I have noticed there are a ton of revenue models, and CPA is just one of them. Since I had to make a quick buck to fund my operations, something that interested me was, PPD (pay per download). I started off with FileServe (they were fantastic before the SOPA bullshit). I signed up at fileserve and wet my feet into affiliate marketing. I became an affiliate marketer. Wohoo?now let?s make some money. I was excited and started off with youtube. And I remember I made my first $ online on the third day I started my journey. And in 15 days I actually managed to make $20?and cashed out straight to paypal! Now, I got hosting and other necessities straight away, and got into CPA. From there the rest of the stuff you can catch upon, from the threads and methods I have shared. The key I found is the persistence. If you are not focused or persistent, you are in for a lot of frustration. It?s just really crazy. That?s what I have been up to. Next one will be when I hit my Million $$$$$$$. Anyway, throw your questions, and please make them constructive.
