I got to give to her, she took action out of some WSO and she's finally making some money!

Now I just need to figure out how to outsource this.....

lol reporter should have kicked her crutches on the camera i am sure they would have had sth. Well nothing blackhat her outright scamming. No wonder whenever I see someone like this I think they might just be a scammer. Oh well Im sure she will get her payback somehow.

Wow. For those in NYC paying attention, at :22 the cross streets appear to be 5th Ave and 57th Street, so those in the area who are so inclined have all the info you need to locate her, and kick her scamming crutches out yourselves.

*disclaimer: I barely watched a few seconds of the video.

I have mixed thoughts on phony street beggers. I'd say that people tend to feel better about themselves after donating money to help someone (even though donating to them actually harms them a lot of the time), so in a twisted way the fake begger could be seen as providing a service. Donating to real beggers tend to be more harmful to them than good since there's usually homeless shelters and such that would provide for them if they would stay clean, but they have no need to since they can beg to provide for their habits (obviously not always, but probably usually). The fake begger is playing with people's emotions in a negative way, which is probably the worst part of it all, but so do many many advertisements

So you gotta ask, which is less moral, donating to a fake homeless person that will spend their money like an average, somewhat healthy person, or a real homeless person that will use the money to fund their substance abuse?

This is why I hate the concept of big cities and wish there were only small villages in this world. Big cities causes what is called "facelessness". There are so many people that nobody knows anybody. Everyone is faceless and anonymous.

If this was a small village and there was a strange woman begging in the streets, word would have spread like forest fire and everyone would be finding out who she was. Terrorist, robbers, rapists etc are able to hide in big cities only thanks to facelessness. Osama Bin Laden could have never hid himself in a village. Only possible in big cities.
