It’s time to finish my “.EDU-Thread trilogy”. Have fun with my very special gift!

These are the links to my previous two .EDU-Threads on how to get your own .EDU Blog and how to get high-PR backlinks from .EDU Forums and Guestbook’s (I hope these are the correct links as I can´t access them anymore..):

In this thread you will get everything you need in order to make REALLY successful comments on .edu blogs. Here is the content of this thread:

    • How to get your own & free .edu email address
    • List of .edu Blogs that allow comments from PR7 – PR3
    • How to make non-plus-ultra comments that are not considered to be spam
    • How to get more of your comments approved

    1. HOW TO GET YOUR OWN .EDU EMAIL ADDRESS FOR FREE:

I noticed that some blogs only allow comments when you have an .EDU email address. Well, here you can apply for such an email:

    Code:
    http://mail.newzealand.edu/userhome/signup/
If they don´t accept you: use an Australian-proxy. .EDU emails are a rarity (you will notice this once you tried to search for them). So use them wisely!!.

    2. HOW TO MAKE NON-PLUS ULTRA COMMENTS THAT WILL NOT GET FLAGGED AS SPAM:

Google hates spam-comments. Sooner or later they will be able to identify spam/generic comments and ignore these links (if they are not already doing this…). Here is a neat little technique that helps you to write easily comments that are considered to be related to the topic of the blog-article.

    1. Copy the text of the article that you would like to comment on
    2. visit:
      Code:
      http://www.online-utility.org/text/analyzer.jsp
and enter the text that you have copied
    3. Click on “Process text”
    4. Scroll down until you find “Unfiltered word count”, which will display the keywords in the article that were used most (ignore generic words like “you”, “that”, etc.).
    5. Copy these keywords, and paste them into the Comment-Box of the blog. Now you can write your comment and integrate these most important keywords into your comment. Google will consider your comment as a comment that is highly related to the article.

    3. HOW TO GET YOUR COMMENTS APPROVED:

Well, it is our aim to convince the blog-administrator that we really have visited his blog, read his article and are not spamming at all. Here are some tips:

    • Respond to a previous comment (agree or disagree with it)
    • Address a previous poster by name (at least the name that gets displayed) such as Hey “PingPong”…
    • Start your comment with something like: “Hello [Enter the Name of the Blog-Owner]”

    4. HERE IS THE LIST WITH .EDU BLOGS THAT ALLOW COMMENTS:

All Blogs were auto-approval when tested. The PR that is stated is always the PR of the HOMEPAGE. All of them were not moderated, when I found them some months ago. This can change very fast (due to spam) so don´t blame me if some of them are already moderated. Please note that some sites are using spam-filters, sometimes you will have to fill in an .EDU-email address to get your comments accepted.

    BLOGS WITH MODERATION:

    PR 6:

    Code:
    http://blogs.mccombs.utexas.edu/mccombs-today/
    PR 4:

    Code:
    http://www.eduinreview.com/blog/
      http://www.wiu.edu/library/dean/blog/index.php/2008/08/ifla-2008/
      http://www.personal.psu.edu/cwc5/blogs/
      http://music.yale.edu/norfolk/blog/

PS: You will find some do-follow as well as some no-follow blogs to comment on. There are a lot of discussions whether it makes sense to create no-follow links too or not. My personal opinion is that no-follow links can be useful to let your site look more legit to Google, because I think it looks a bit suspicious if your site has only do-follow backlinks. But that is just my personal POV.

Now have some fun with that article and use it wise.

    And please don´t spam ;-))

Don´t worry. :D This thread won´t get moved!

Hey, have you used an proxy? And what kind of country have you chosen? I think it depends on that to get accepted.

But I would recommend you to wait some days, as they say on their homepage that it could last some hours until they have activated your account.

Yeah.. just as you say: BUT....

If some use scrapebox, etc. to spam the hell out of this list it will become useless.. but if everyone would take some blogs and makes some usefull comments everyone will benefit from that...

Exactly. I´ve added only the adress of the blogs, so that people could search for the blog-posts they would like to comment on (with the highest PR).

If I would have posted direct links to high-PR blog posts all these posts would have gotten spammed, which would have been really suspicious.

I think it will be safe to say that this will be put into the Jr VIP soon. With that said, either save this post on your PC or upgrade (if you haven't).

    That's my free tip.
