The instagram terms and conditions state the following:

You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the service.

My question is though, where is the line between pictures that are classed as these, and pictures that are not? Ton's of "hot girl pages" are getting banned, while others are rocking huge accounts without a problem.

I think it's a very thin line, and its a base-by-base thing. Some of the big hot-girls accounts don't get closed because of their size I think. I got one hot-girl account banned some time ago, it was pretty new with 1-2k followers. Only posted bikini pictures or that kind, no fully nude. But one day it was banned just like that. So it's a dangerous niche to work with ;)

My point exactly.. Also the "community guidelines" indicate that accounts that largely consist of photo's that are not theirs, or have been "collected" on the internet will be banned as well.. So basically all you can do is shoot and hope for the best then?

I had a tattoo-babe niche and it was banned in a week. The most I posted was of females in bikinis, but not all the pictures were like this. It was a toss between a selfie/tattoo pose/bikini.

bikinis - but if it's too provocative your account is gone examples of STKMKTFTGRU are pretty much the line

Isn't anything that is posted considered copyright of the original user who has posted it? If I take a picture from my phone and upload it it belongs to me. There were no watermarks on the images and I tagged the original poster as well.

Good heads up. Was going to build a hot girl account on Instagram and would probably have been banned quickly if it wasn't for reading this. Will test it out and find the line for my account. Although. Once u find the line you've already gone past it.

Cheers, should have thought of that myself..

Did you get banned for doing so?

Maybe the original poster made a complaint or a rival made a false copyright claim.

No, that is not the case. Just because somebody takes a photo and publishes his item does not make it a piece of work that deserves copyright protection. It belongs to him, no question, but snapshots don't deserve to be protected by law.

It depends on the country the images were made in. In the U.S. it would automatically be copyrighted, but in many other countries it wouldn't gain copyright status due to it not promoting the arts. And even then if something has copyright status it doesn't mean that it can carry jail time for using without permission, for example things that have no retail value cannot get someone a prison sentence in America for violating copyright of it.

Even in America not only can one use copyrighted content without permission(and maybe face civil suits most wont go to trial since it would cost $10,000+) but you can "trick" someone into violating menacing/harassment laws if they are threatening jail time over it. Copyright laws are mostly designed to protect high net worth companies and individuals not amateurs.

I would stay away from this niche IMO.

I only had 50% of them survive, lol.

I guess it's because when thirsty guys can't get a hold of the girl on your account, they start reporting it. :/

Post non-nudes pics and you will be fine

Bikini / lingerie would be fine?

Brazzers and Playboy won't get banned because they are Brazzers and Playboy. But nevertheless, I never saw a bikini-girls-account been banned?

So according to you, what would get you banned, and what won't?

The first sentence was just a statement. Business accs over personal accs, bigger brands over smaller brands etc.
I think bikini/lingerie is ok. Never saw/heard one getting banned. I saw other stuff on IG. Dicks, pussies, child porn. Sure this will be banned after time. But i could imagine that it's like YT. If enough people flag you, you will be banned with just bikini/lingerie.

But if someone has a legit model studio that they are using then wouldn't it be allowed even if its doing the same type of images as those companies are?

Most of the people on here posting in the hot girl niche probably don't own the rights to use the images they are posting.
