I specifically joined this forum to post concerns about Hostwinds...I've been getting spammed by several different email address which all point back to Hostwinds through arin. I've forwarded many of these to Hostwinds only to have them tell me they've "contacted the client sending" and yet nothing it done.

It is my belief that Hostwinds is part of the spamming themselves! They say on their privacy statement that they have a "Zero Tolerance towards spam" yet when given proven spam from their hosted site they do nothing but "Contact"...that doesn't sound like zero tolerance!

My advice is not use this company for anything...giving them personal information is just opening you up to internet abuse!

    Hmmmm.
Sound that this is not a review per se, but an all out attack, allbeit nearing inflammatory and derogatory on Hostwinds.
Have you checked ALL other possibilities?

My advise is to be carefull with the use of
"My advice is not use this company for anything...giving them personal information is just opening you up to internet abuse"
type of statements, as they border on slander IMHO.

wait and see what peter says.

I just received this "blackmail" from this user.

The client has forwarded a CAN-SPAM compliant email to us with unsubscribe links. When we contacted the client, he provided us with full subscriber info.

I have asked the client in question to completely remove your contact info from his list, however you really need to think about how you go about things. Blackmailing a company is no way of getting things accomplished

Also you could have just clicked the giant UNSUBSCRIBE LINK

This company is here from the last few years so I don't think so they are responsible for that..they must have good support otherwise BHW never tolerate..so i think you should wait for their reply..

BHW is not affiliated with Hostwinds. At all.

Also, do not post other member's personal contact information without their approval.
