    Hey HostStage,

    I didn't want to do this but I ordered a VPS 12th march and got it only for 2 hrs. After that it went down. Tony told me there is a network issue and he will provision a new VPS for me and I'm still waiting. Ordering at 12th and not getting it even at 15th.......and not even getting proper response doesn't tell anything good about a hosting company. I want to believe you are a good provider and that's why I ordered quarterly. Hope this will be solved soon. Please see ticket #902921 and #624540.

    It's a week later and everything is still working very well. Few minor hitches here and there, but that's certainly due to me trying to do a little too much on a 512mb server. (Looks like I'll need to bump up my plan soon!)

    I don't think you can really find much of a better deal anywhere else. Fast, affordable, and reliable. I haven't experienced a single outage or random reboot in the week that I've been using it.

    Thank you for your feedback. While you haven't asked for it, here is a quick sum up with full transparency about what happened exactly :

    Indeed, things were quite and unusually agitated over the 2 past days on NODE 4, the one you were set up for 2 days. The Datacenter we are in, failed on us in pushing a network update on a production level without testing it prior to the launch. The VPS were loosing the syncronisation with the gateway outside our own network. We had many leads for this uncommon problem including our own routers / switch, but actually we realized later on, it was out of our control (we weren't informed of the update). All this lead me to say, we thought we were on the edge to crack the issue, we postponed your VPS migration, as soon as we realized it wasn't fixed an hour before your ticket, we initiated the transfer which creates around 6 hours delay from what Tony said to you. For some who may wonder, the situation is now under control, not quite fixed by the DC yet, but we deployed a custom workaround.

    Just came back to this thread to give my honest review about host-stage.

    I ordered the entry package for around $9 using the discount for the first month. Used vagex, enhanceviews and utorrent, everything was a little slow but was working. Later on, I was informed that I was using too much resources, support was polite enough to inform me and fixed the problem for me. Even went beyond and gave an additional bonus for me. Right now, the vps is working well as it should. Support is terrific, internet speed is just amazing, the system speed is bearable since im only at 512mb ram but it's ok.

    To anyone making decision on which VPS to choose from, I would definitely recommend Host-Stage. Support itself is always ready to respond and give great assistance!

    This service works as advertised. I purchased a Level 4 package around ten days ago and I am very glad I did. The VPS was setup within three hours of ordering, I can run GSA with 100 threads no problem. It can handle Ultimate Demon like a champ as well. Never had an issue and the connection is always blazing fast. If I ever need another VPS for any reason I will surely order another through HostStage.
