    move to hostgator man or bluehost.... i used them a while back untill all my sites where hacked and it turns out its from there server which was hacked due to there negligence

    Yeah that host is a joke..From my searches SiteGround seems pretty good,I'm thinking to move there myself..You should check it out !

    With all due respect, Ddos's arent easy to stop, their are things you can do to help migrate the attack. But, you cant exactly just stop it. All my servers are DDos protected up to a point...

    your best bet at this point is ask them to move you to another server where they arent hosting an account thats prone to being ddos'ed. If not perhaps you should looking into moving to a different provider.
