hosting music on Youtube

so I know this probably has been done to death, but I have a particular niche of music I feel could bring a decent amount of traffic to a blog.

basically, I upload music on youtube and use it to advertise my blog, simple as that.

my only question is how do I avoid getting it removed or w/e? a lot of the music I will be hosting is free already, but some albums won't be. do I just give props to X recording label, saying they have the rights to this, bla bla bla? or is that not enough to have them remove it whenever they want to.

Generally if you avoid any WMG and UMG owned stuff, you'll be alright, they do allow some of their stuff up, but not much.

Just run a quick search on the label and artist to see if UMG/WMG is a parent company or something.

Propz to the label etc. will NOT suffice, if your posting entire songs.

Thanks WarGamesDavid, I was trying to work around the same thing and you nailed it as soon as I started avoiding WMG / UMG my videos started to stick around.
