So I heard the theory that having multiple sites at one host/IP and the big G seeing this it may devalue your sites, especially is any grey/black hat tactics are being used.

What's your take on it? Of course it's good to spread your eggs around, but unless you're using a SEO host it seems redundant if you host lots of sites to make each one look like it's coming from a completely different source. There's probably a good middle ground.

If you interlink them it's bad. But if they aren't linking to each other it's fine.

    I'll add to that

Also, Google really only looks at IP to determine location, the days where they would use it to establish a relationship between site ended a couple years ago. I think a large majority of the website you come across daily are on shared servers, so in some cases, you can have 200-300 sites on a signle IP.

    I wouldn't worry about it.
