I want to switch my host from 1and1 (complete shit btw, would never recommend them) to host gator. I was going to use the hatchling plan. If i wanted to be able to host multiple sites on it, e.i. multiple niche sites or blogs. Could i do it on this package?

    thanks.

Sorry if this is the wrong section, i wasnt too sure where this would go.

EDIT: I just found the hosting section, never noticed that before 0.o could a mod or something move this please? .. my mistake :(

I have my autoblog running for a while on hostgator.. no issues so far.. but IIRC I read some people say that they close your account if you host more that 10-12 autoblogs..

You need the baby plan at least. Hatchling only allows one domain. I guess you could use hatchling + subdomains of one domain for your various sites but that would look silly. Baby makes most sense from what you described. If you plan on having more than 10 sites then a reseller plan is really awesome as you get the WHM tool to easily setup domains - but sounds like you want to go cheap.

Didn't want to start a new thread just for this, so:

How "unlimited" exactly are HG hosting packages in terms of bandwidth? Baby or Business looks great on paper for my purposes (5-10 minisites to start with, later on as the need arises I'd bump it to reseller or get VPS).

I've hit them with some pretty heavy traffic and never had a complaint.
