I have just signed up with a new host with the intention of moving all my sites over to it. Something I have never considered is now confusing me and here's why.
My new host has given me the nameservers ns1.xyz.com and ns2.xyz.com (as an example, not my real nameservers), but the existing nameservers on my existing host are the same. Therefore how can the domains, when I switch them over to my new host, resolve to the nameservers on my new host considering they are the same as the existing ones?
Probably something simple but I can't think what.
