    Hey guys!

I have a .co.il domain, but the hosting is going to be over today. So I want to host my website using goDaddy, and I got no experiance with this.

So I was wondering, do I need to transfer the domain first? If so, there is no .co.il option in goDaddy when trying to transfer my domain.

And if not, can someone give me quick explaination/instructions? I would appreciate it.

    Thanks.

You can keep using your current domain registrar and still use GoDaddy hosting. You just need to change your domain nameservers to the nameservers that GoDaddy hosting will give you.

No need to change your domain registrar. You can simply point your domain to your new hoster's DNS. By the way why going for godaddy it sucks all the time. Get hostgator's hosting plan. Its simple to use and works good compared with godaddy.

Because goDaddy has many good coupons, and my website is not that big... 20 visitors a day ^^

Hey so I just went to purchase from Hostgator with this coupon: RETAILMENOT83
And everytime I go to confirm the payment, I get this message:

The following errors need to be corrected before signing up:

    • You may not use affiliate coupon codes for additional package orders.

and my domain name changes from www.domain.co.il to www.domain.co.il.com with suggestoins to purchase .com (Maybe the hosting doesn't work on .co.il?)

Does anyone know what is the problem? Note that whenever I put the coupon, I see the price decreases, which means that the coupon does work.

    Thanks.

as everyone said you don't need to transfer the domain just change the nameservers whereever you want to host
since your hosting is expiring make sure your domain isn't expiring

    godaddy has better coupon?!
    their hosting sucks
and I don't there plans are cheap
let me know whats your budget so that I can recommend you some good hosting provider within your budget

I know, but whenever I want to buy a hosting, it asks me for my domain (I guess for the domain I want to host), see picture below

.co.il.com (the .com) comes after I try to confirm my information.

And my budget, I want as cheap as possible.. and I'm trying to purchase only for 1 month which is 0.01$ using my coupon.
