I searched and I couldn't find an answer to my specific question. Sorry if I missed it.

I have a hostgator reseller account. I originally signed up for it because I know they won't oversell the reseller accounts, they don't have "unlimited" plans.
Is the Hostgator Shared account just as speedy? I build websites for small businesses and am concerned about website speed and server reliability. Would these be the same? has anyone used both and noticed a difference?

I know if I switch to shared I'll loose my super cool custom nameservers. Telling clients ns1.mydomain.com is much better than ns1.websitewelcome.com

    Thoughts?

Yes, they are same with shared account you've everything 'unlimited' thing. what the reason you move to shared instead stay on their reseller package?
