Hi people

I hired a web hosting service with Hostgator and I am now asking for verification. I can not call because I do not speak English.

Hostgator also requests scanned copy of a Photo ID such as a passport or drivers license. Additionally, request a copy of a credit card ...
What if I paid with PayPal?

Is all this so necessary?

What can I do?

I hope some help from you, I'll be very grateful.

PS: I apologize for my poor English, I must improve!

They have some rules for certain countries. They must have recived a lot of fraudulent transactions from your country and they are more strict about it.
Just send the copies, or choose another host.

Yeap!
I got the experience with this matter.
My whole true story:
Buy hosting from Hostgator under my brother name, with my email and my friend CC.
First they asked for ID scan of me brother, the scan of my friend CC.
After I sent, they ask for CC owner ID scan, I sent them the copy of her Passport.
I got approval, but they did refund the order, I must asked my friend to pay one more time.
Unfortunately, after 48 hours waiting for DNS server update, but it's not done. I ask for support I found that I forgot checking in order the domain. It's really suck and I walked to local hosting provider to got a domain with cash :D.
Each step to get verification, I got the answer from the higher level officer from Hostgator.
Anyway, I went through and setup my 10 autoblogs, one per day.
That's my exp about this, hope you go through.
Regards,
