If I have a Hostgator account where I can host unlimited domain names, but the MAIN domain on that Hostgator account has been flagged by Google as 'spammy', will ANY other domains that I host under that hosting account ever get indexed...or should I get a new hosting account?

In other words, any new domains that I set up, I assume will be hosted with the same DNS settings.

If Google considers those DNS settings 'spammy', will it even matter?

Am I making sense because I just re-read that and it gave me a headache.

I'm almost certain that it doesn't matter and that google only cares about the domain name. But I'm not 100% sure.

I would like to know this as apart of my cloaking projects, if it really depends on domain like wealthy suggest, this would help me very much.

To add to wealthy199's post, if it's a shared ip with other webmaster's domains on the same ip, Google is probably only concerned with your banned domain.
