Anyone else experiencing huge downtime with Hostgator now, or is it just me?

Looks like it's just me, weird actually that I can't access any of my domains hosted there. If I use proxies or check with downforeveryoneorjustme.com it works..

Run away and run away fast from this sinking ship called hostgator. This is probably the worst paid hosting company available on the net today.

Hostgator has lots of downtime because they have about 50-100 users per server. That excludes domains hosted. Try a better solution. I'm with poweruphosting and no problems for 1 year now. They migrated everything from my previous host (bluehost).

I use multiple hostings to host various sites. Why do you say so?

Yeah, that's downforeveryoneorjustme.com But weird though, how it I can't access any of the domains I use there, but they're up.

Since Hostgator got bought out by another company, they have gone down hill. I would recommend going with a different hosting company.

Try open your site using another browser it happen to me sometimes but not HG hosting sites,
everytime it happen i try to open using different firefox profile and if it doesn't work, use proxy.

Funnily enough I had an issue with hostgator today but maybe it was unrelated - I couldnt access phpmyadmin for any of my sites.
Anyway, I have been using them for around 3 years and thats the first issue I have had in that entire time, so I am personally a supporter of theirs.

Incidently as well, even though they are in the US and I am in the UK they come up a lot faster than some other UK providers so I am a happy customer.

Ive used hostgator for a long time and i've never had issues. I have a reseller account there and host dozens of sites on it. Never have any downtime and my site load speeds are fast.
