Is hostgator a good host to host a autoblog on or does anyone recommend something else
I have about 10 autoblogs with HG... no problems.
they don't have any problem.
@Nihilist - how do you use autoblog and what source you use for monetization
I have about 15 autoblogs with hg and no problems. I have read that some members have had problems w hg, I assumed they were updating/posting quite often and had many autoblogs
i am using them for my autoblogs for 4 months with no problems at all.
I never had any problems with HG
personally i haven't used their hosting service. but i've read someone posting about autoblogs on crack that hostgat0r warns you and sends you email when your on autoblog.
perhaps doing it in twice a day would be fine with them.
the problem i encountered with my autoblogs(hosted in HG) was the plugins installed(i'm using wordpress). I thought the problem was with their servers but then after figuring out what causes the problem(with the help of the support team from HG) that proves that HG hosting services are COOOOOOLL...
It's depend how often you post. With 50 post/day at the beginning HG has no problem, but when your DB get bigger,HG will suspend your blog.
I agree with what has been said about the frequency of your posting. More than three or four posts a day is pushing it, if you're trying to go for legitimacy. (Real humans just aren't going to sit there and update their blog every fifteen minutes.)
I'd recommend Site5's reseller hosting. They offer extra dedicated IPs for $1/month.
Thanks for the info... this helps. I will lower my post now.
Yup , I used hostgator for 3 months with no issues
My all autoblogs in hostgator 2 shared hosting and 1 reseller
I have resellers account and everything is ok.
