I have been a Hostgator affiliate since 2010 and they have never paid me any commissions. Surely someone out of the 57 visitors to their page through my banner signed up. Recently 3 of my clients signed up through my page and every time I inquired about my blank commission page they send out the same form letter stating my commissions have been awarded to another affiliate. How can that be? They do not allow duplicate usernames. I don't even get a response from them until I give them a bunch of poor ratings to their response. I spoke with another affiliate (plugin developer) who told me they made mney with them a year ago but nothing this year. Is anyone else having this issue?

I usually get people sign up everyday, for last week, there is no sign up and makes me question their service.

Well I have been pushing traffic to them and have had a few sign ups in the last couple of months. I'm evening using ppc. But it seems that they are not crediting every sign up also I seem to lose atleast half my comissions due to accounts becoming inactive before payout. Also hostgator was just acquired recently by a different company. This might have something to do with it. Might be some sort of transission phase.

I actually wrote a long complaint letter to them a few months back about their affiliate program and what a screw up it is. I love their hosting and customer service on the front end, but their affiliate program is the most jacked up program I have ever been a part of. I have had to complain to them multiple times about commissions. For example, they would say the domain name was "inactive" when in reality the domain name was active with a website etc. Their response time is also pathetic. Sometimes you get a response, sometimes you don't, sometimes it takes weeks to get a response. After alot of persistence, I have received all of my commissions, but I am looking for another hosting provider to push customers to, simply because their affiliate program sucks.
