    Hey guys,

So I purchased a VPS for a project of mine. Spent the last few days getting the site nice and tidy.

Decided to ping my site - Low and behold - my VPS is based in Chicago. Not the datacenter in LONDON of which I paid for. This is obviously no good for a SEO project for the UK.

So a valuable SEO lesson here:

Check the IP address of your hosting plan and you won't waste a weekend like I have.

I've sent a support ticket saying along the lines of: I demand an explanation or a refund immediatley.

What would you do? Surely a mistake like this can't be made easily can it?

    Take care fellow blackhatters!
