Hoplinks in javascript redirects or as an autoresponder success page

I have browsed through CB T&Cs but I can't find anything about placing a hoplink in a javascript redirect or mail autoresponders. I am looking at two scenarios:

    • hoplink placed in Aweber autoresponder as a success page - which means someone gets onto my squeeze page, completes the aweber form, aweber sends a confirmation email but the success page is a CB hoplink which takes them to a vendor website where they can complete the action
    • as above, but the success page is a page on my domain, for instance hxxp://www.mydomain.com/confirmation which has the following text "thank you for confirming your email blah blah blah you will now be taken to the next step" and a javascript redirects the client via a hoplink to a vendor's website. Alternatively, there is a text "if nothing happens for 5 seconds click here" and click here is a hyperlink with (you guessed right) a hoplink.
Two questions spring to my mind:

    1. Will the hoplinks trace properly if they are placed as an autoresponder success page or in a javascript redirect?
    2. Is that against CB T&Cs? Technically in two out of three cases there is no action from the user - either the autoresponder redirects them to a vendor's website or a script - unless the script fails, then they click the link...
On the other hand vendors shouldn't really care what prompted a visit (redirection or an actual click) because we are only being paid if a visitor completes buys their service, they don't pay for clicks...

I hope you know what I am talking about... Any help appreciated!

I don't think you'll have a problem with Clickbank, and certainly not the vendors.

AWeber might have issues with it, though, but unless there are complaints (which won't be likely), I doubt they'll notice.

I've been doing what you described for a very long time (having my CB link as the sign-up success page) without any problems whatsoever.

It tracks just fine & you'll have no issues.
