Now this is an opinion thread, I really want to know what you guys think. I'm 20 years old and back in December I had excruciating pain/swelling in my chest back and hand only to find out it was an auto immune disorder called psoriatic arthritis. Now I am going to have to get IV treatment and deal with any side effects for the remainder of my life. Let me just also straight up say that there is no cure for any arthritis.

Now why do people advertise via ads and sites and spam affiliate links and sales pages to ebooks and such claiming to have the cure for incurable diseases?

Do they really get a kick out of this??? Just saying because I just saw my first ad claiming to cure arthritis on Facebook.

So let me know what you think and if you are one of these people I please beg you to stop 'stealing money' from those suffering.

    My father had arthritis....

Many people make tons of money with this..
    but read the ad carefully...
some do not claim to cure it but to cure the pains from it..
    basically alleviate the pain....

but like they say... buyer beware.

Approximately 10% to 20% of patients with a given condition respond positively to placebo. This is a big problem for every drug company when it has to prove (as required) better efficacy of their product compared to the placebo effect.

That's pretty much the only good thing that can be said about the hoax products. Still, 10% is not something that's easy to downplay.

We're in an industry where people don't mind inconveniencing thousands of blog or forum owners by externalizing their marketing costs on to them via spam. There are always going to be a few desperate people out there that are willing to try and spend anything to get rid of their incurable ailment...

Having said that, arthritis shit doesn't convert because people are aware that it's incurable. Stuff for minor but embarrassing ailments like hemorrhoids converts way better.

Sorry to hear you got arthritis man, that sucks.
