This will depend on what page your trying to rank. If its an article specific to a certain product then do some research to check what anchor text your competition is using for that keyword and do that. If its high authority and you want to pass juice to your whole site do a homepage link with generic anchor text.

Use website domain url. Google loves urls.

While adding back link profile focus mostly on homepage with diversified anchors that could pass link juice to the whole website.

If you want people to be more aware of your business or brand, you should create backlinks for your homepage; by creating links for the homepage, you can increase your brand value, and if you have some specific pages, then you can create backlinks for them too.

You need to mix it with the homepage(40%) & category pages (60%). If you take links only on 1 page it will create a footprint.

And if you take links on the homepage it will spread juice on overall website.
