What do you guys think ?
Bad video, why would a homeless person go to an expensive restaurant? I think they did the right thing and saved him some money.
That guy is getting on my nerves now. Pretends to be highlighting the issues of the homeless (NOT) while banking with YT.
Us internet marketers know whats really going on here but the general public is just so gullible. They have no idea this guy is making thousands on thousands.
If that guy owns that car and has a lifestyle that matches it - I guarantee if he was in a high-end restaurant and the person he pretended to be was seated next to him, he would have a quiet word with the Maitre d'
That's true and there are plenty of other youtubers starting to do the same like him.
Its a prank bro!
For some reason I cannot play this video, but if it is what I think it is about, then I do not see what the problem is. Restaurants have dress codes and standards, and if I went to a restaurant and there was homeless people in there who stunk of shit, I would not be happy.
People with money get treated with respect, People without dont, period.
The pranker is the only insulting and offensive person in the video, just fuck him. End of the story.
One of his campaigns https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-thomas-to-get-a-fresh-start
This is just all part of his marketing, it is to get his name out there. He really could not care less about anyone but himself. You could ask yourself, why does he not donate all the money he has raked in from the video, to ""Help Give Thomas A Fresh Start""?
He has some nice stats:
And yea, it's all about marketing. He doesn't care about the homeless or any other person, he's just into making money like everyone else.
Most of the quality YouTubers have left YouTube after YouTube's algorithm change that benefits PewDiePie and derivative work. Now, you have all these Vitaly's and JoshPalerLin's running amok making the same type of videos with the same features:
They find a topic that preys on pathos.
They give a chimp a camera to film at a distance.
They introduce their new toy (in this case, a Ferrari) so that they can show off how much money they make.
They shame someone or a group of people toward the end while acting pious.
They ask for viewers to subscribe so that they can consume more garbage.
Asap1 is right. Us Internet marketers can see what's going on, but these other people are going to watch it, feel offended because we're all not Marxists, and then share it on Facebook so that it can go viral.
Are IM:ers so much better with their piece of shit $5 articles that sucks major ass, created only for the purpose of selling an even more piece of shit product. I always think about you fuckers when I am searching for something interesting on Google and all I find is your shitty websites that always sends me to a CB product that I absolutely do not want.
I do kind of admire and respect all these young guys for making money with YT (pretty sure all the successful guys have blackhatted to some extent) but I just hate the rubbish shit they post.
Might just be an age thing, as young people seem to like that shit and make it go viral, just makes me want to give everybody a slap.
He got that Ferrari by tricking dumb gullible people into thinking his videos are real...but hey, more power to him. Lucky for him 99% of the population are dumb as a bag of rocks.
I know and I completely agree with you. I just want to point out that BHW is exactly as shitty as those YouTube videos are. It is all about fooling people to pay for a product or complete a task such as watching a YouTube clip. Just take a look at the front page of BHW, full of garbage sales thread that is there for one damn purpose, making the OP bank. There are of course exceptional threads here on BHW, hence the reason why I am still frequently visiting this forum.
No, you're right. Those Internet marketers with their poorly-written articles that are used to direct traffic to even lower-quality products aren't any better than the current YouTubers (in fact, you could probably argue that some of them are probably worse). However, that has nothing to do with my post since I said that Internet marketers can see what's going on, not that they're better than those YouTubers (we're not all the same).
By the way, I can't tell if you were trying to insinuate that I sell $5 articles (on Fiverr or on BHW?) or work with Clickbank (not any more, at least), but I do neither considering I mostly work with local clients and I don't even have a BST on BHW. If you weren't, then disregard this paragraph.
I understand why you're mad and why you had to point that out. I've noticed those sales threads as well and I agree with what you said. You should actually visit this thread here about another forum member complaining about those BST threads. It's in the Forum Suggestions & Feedback section, so if you have an idea for improving the quality of the BST section, you can make a suggestion there.
I am absolutely not insinuating you. I am talking about BHW in general. Maybe it was not very wise by me to quote you, my apologies.
I honestly do not think that the owner of BHW cares about whether the threads are of good quality or not because the moderators seem to approve all kind of sales threads, even them who are obviously bullshit.
