I am pretty sure most of you guys have seen atleast 1 homeless man videos on youtube, how many of you think that its all scam to collect donations, (i see some of these videos collect upto $200k donations) and the Homeless man in that video is a hired actor. What do you think?

BTW i have nothing against donating to the homeless but putting that on youtube to collect donations is pretty much a scam in my opinion, 99.99% people on the internet may not realize this but as an internet marketer for past 5 years i can easily consider this to be a scam.

The only good thing I see from it is that it makes people a little bit more motivated to give something to a homeless man,
rather than think "ew he's homeless".

Well, we should all give and help without waiting for a video to motivate us,
but unfortunately subscribers can be so fanatic, that this may have an interesting positive outcome like:

"Wow Pewdiepie did this, so we must do this".

Is this stupid? Sure. But at least some people take action cause of it, and people in need actually get help.

I would love to see humanity though to get motivated by common sense and not by going crazy on youtubers,
but as I said, at least people get some kind of help.

If the homeless man is not an actor, then I am happy for him.
If he is, yeah, it's definitely a scam.

I was about to click "I am not sure" , but I guess my answer is "every situation is different".

Let me dress like a homeless man shoot a video and make some money now (just kidding)

Working as an Internet marketer certainly does makes you more aware of the depravity on the Internet. While their are covetous people on the Internet, I do not believe that all or even most of the videos regarding homelessness are scams.

However, I do not deny the existence of charity scammers and I wouldn't be surprised if there were quite a few active scams currently on YouTube.

fake or not, I am jealous of them. 32 million views = 32 thousand dollars just in youtube money.
I wouldnt get donations for a fake purpose but would i make a fake video for views? hell ya.
I think it's pretty easy to spot the fakes, any reaction that's too extreme and "out there" is obviously fake, you dont get that kind of reaction in real life.
anything that's borderline illegal is obviously fake. example: scaring people with weapons.
the asian guy (what was his name, paul john lin or something? the one that did the homeless $100 experiment) I think he is real. The homeless guy's reactions are just too genuine and i dont know any actors that can appear so genuine.
