...this Internet Marketing stuff. OK, it started small:

A year ago I stuck some adsense ads on a few of my websites. Never bothered because I thought "what moron would click on those ads?" (I never did.) I guess I was wrong. I started making $2 a day and was quite pleased with myself.

I discovered SEO and found BHW a short while later and started lapping everything up around here. (What moron would PAY for all these these .PDFs?) This is when I first learned of clickbank.

OK, I have few skills and know desktop publishing - I wrote an ebook about what I knew and slapped it up on clickbank. I had a website which was ranked #2 on Google for it's niche and it made me look like an authority on the subject. I've now been selling (1) $30 ebook a day with NO refunds.

Everyone around here kept talking about CPA offers. OK, I managed to sign up for a few and took a look. (Boy is that some dry shit they offer on those things.) Picked a topic, made a landing page and started an adwords campaign and "turned on the faucet" just a crack.

I find this the most amusing thing: I give Google $10 (for adwords that day) and my affiliate company hands me $20 back. It's like a defective change machine. You still a bill in one end, and double your money comes out the other.

OK fine, I'm sure you hot shot CPA IM guys are scoffing at my lousy $10 a day. ;-) BUT - it only took me 2 days to research a product, build the landing page and set up the adwords campaign. (unlike the 4 weeks it took me to write and publish a quality ebook.) I know I can make 20 of these campaigns by the end of the year. But c'mon...NOBODY makes $500-$1000 a day doing this shit...right? ;-)

sure they do :D

You damn right it works!

What's funny about your post is that it reminded me of when I first ever ever ever got into this side of the internet..the ad and landing page of the site had some money printing machine that I actually thought I was going to receive in the mail for me to print out my own checks since I was going to be making so much money.......Supposedly..

But it was just my first kiss in the IM world..thanks to that loss though because I probably would have never even knew about this till this day. Good luck on your journey to riches.

Instead of making 20 campaigns worth $10, why not pump in more adword dollars into this campaign?

I mean, if you are getting 100% ROI, throw $100 a day at it and you'll be profiting $100 a day...

why not build your landing page around your niche of desktop publishing and promote your ebook AND your adsense at the same time? Oh... and an opt-in list offering some kinda free giveaway 'report'... oh yea... and a CPA offer for some other related crap... Kill 3-4 birds with one stone;) Might as well cookie stuff the bastards too and stick some amazon links on there for some related products (software?) AND THEN do what electrohed says above, open up the spigot on that adwords! Hehehe, NOW you are cookin' with gas!:)

Why not rather than aiming for 20x $10 a day campaigns focus of 3 - 4 campaigns in particular and try pushing your budget up to a few hundred a day for each. I think you'll find that's a far easier option.

Cheers

But c'mon...NOBODY makes $500-$1000 a day doing this shit...right? ;-) and the rest.......

just ramp it up and you will find out that you can name your own income per day.

First off, I don't have a couple grand to send to Google at the end of the month. (Even if my CPA company promises to pay that in 2 months.) I gotta build my reserves slowly. This particular CPA campaign only pays out $3 a signup. As you guys must know, there seems to be a sweet spot on returns - as in diminishing as the cost goes up.

My .25 cents a click/10 bucks a day puts me right around #5 in the SERP for this batch of keywords. I'll have to test to see if tossing more money at it and going to #1 increases the click through rate THAT much. It'll be interesting to see how much a can throttle this goose.

Right! That's the objective. I'm like a baby that just stood up, and now my parents are screaming at me "RUN!!!" :)

What seems odd to me is the stuff everyone is pushing with IM seems to be just "stupid crap". (Who BUYS this stuff? I guess I'm wrong again.) The hard part is going to be hiding my distain for anyone who buys anything from me. Thank God I'm older and give less of a shit for my fellow man. I suppose I'm turning into the person I hated when I was younger - but fuck it, I'll have a nice house.

Once you get those 20 campas you'll be at that $500 a day mark. Just test test test cut the ones that under perform and rip a hole in the few that kick a**

thanks dude I love to read posts like these :D..keeps everyone motivated.

premiumscore makes more than 1000$ a day and there are many more here who make more than him , if i am correct :D

bump from me :).Dont you guys find this topic interesting??

This OP is doubting that many IMs and noobs like me here are making $1000+ everyday :D LOL..

Sort of the same with me... it amazes me that people actually think they are gonna hook up through craigslist. But it seems thousands, upon thousands of suckers are born every day because they just keep signing up. Do I feel bad? Yes. Is it worth it? Hell yes.

Are you saying people just want to get laid from Criagslist...or actually find love? I found my present wife/girlfriend of 14 years on AOL personals. (way back when)

AND... (OK, this is really sad)

My mother who's 72 years old just found a guy (80 years old, but still kicking) on Yahoo personals. (with my help of course) The joke I've been tossing around: I got my mother laid.

The sad part:

I'm thinking: "How can I MONETIZE my mothers good fortune? Maybe I can do a video testimonial and get some SERPs from some senior dating sites."

OK, I HAVE turned into the person I always hated when I was younger. :o

I wasn't even aware a person can write their own ebook and put it up for sale on clickbank.

Is there a trick to AdWords campaigns?

Maybe I'll go more specific - how much competition should you have? I have 1 good keyword that I have a landing page up for...but if you just choose general keywords to target that have something to do with your landing page, will you always make money?
