They just disabled my account, I wrote an email to them yesterday but they say it will take at most 12 hours,
so I tried the chat, he told me to send a new email with account suspended in the subject, he then passed it on
to the abuse department, I was told that "mostly you will only get some warnings."

Then I got this in a email:

But I don't do forum marketing, so I answered them back:

Now I'm waiting for an answer.

I can see it happened to some others on their forum, are they getting more strict ?

Has this happened to any of you ?

They banned my account twice for same reason. But they give me back the account with last warning.

Thats ridiculous. How can they blame one person when an ip can be acquired by many users depending on when a person is on their network?

You sell YT views and you don't know what HMA does?

Looks like I know who NOT to buy services from.

we use VPN for protect our privacy right? so how do we get caught this much easily as they say? are they not encrypting something to hide our privacy? if you are getting caught contiguously, i think you should change your VPN ASAP. Thats my point.

    This.

This story sounds odd. Something is missing. HMA doesn't give a shit about whining forum admins. They can block the IP if it's a problem.

Don't use HMA VPN for forum stuffs. I have seen many members banned due to spamming in forums.

It´s called logging? What exactly you are talking about? Ofcourse they know when and what a person do with their VPN. Nothing ridicilous there.
Hidemyass is NOT an anonymous VPN. They will release their logs if they have court orders to do so, so don´t do anything illegal with it...

There are some VPN providers who are known to not log anything.
But even they have ways to check (which account does what stuff on their VPN, monitoring traffic) without logging IPs if their costumers do anything that could also harm their business. It depends of the provider (and where they are located) if they will care or not. But if you go with the standard ones... Well don´t do anything bad. VPNs are NOT 100% anonymous.
Even if "companies" like HMA will want you to believe that...

hidemyass is one of the worst in my opinion, their software made my laptop run hot and everything seemed bogged down. Go for private or dedicated proxies.

I'll advice you find alternative, because it's likely they will suspend again.

Thanks for your comment guys, I guess there is not much privacy in most VPN's, I will find another, do you know any good ones ?

I have still not heard back from them, but if they open my account again I will definitely not be renewing it, I paid for a year and have over 7 or 8 month left :-( They could at least give me a warning as it's the first time.

I also come to think of that I have use GSA, I guess it's some forums it posted on that complained

AT: B.Friendly, Apparently they do, It's up to you if you want to believe me, I don't care, I'm not the only one it happened for. And thought people that use it (or thought about) would like to know about it.

Well most of the VPNs are not intended to do any kind of spamming or illegal stuff.

People are "hiding their ass" cause they want to access material that is not available in their country or just, very simple, want to stay anonymous without leaking their real IP on every site they visit.

Don´t be surprised if you break the rules that you will get banned. However, this is a general advise, HMA is known for banning for really "soft" reasons... Plus they are one of the worst providers regarding privacy.

This means that some court has issued an order for HMA to release their logs to a 3rd party (the angry forum admin), or law enforcement. Then the forum admin, or law enforcement, gets HMA to send threatening letters to their own clients, and suspends their service, not because a "court" ordered them to send threatening letters and suspend their service, but because law enforcement or an angry forum admin has asked them to do it.

There's no "making" HMA do this. If the offense was bad enough to warrant court action, the OP would be facing criminal charges or a civil suit. So the whole "the court ordered HMA to X, Y and Z" is out.

Either HMA monitors your activities and initiates these types of actions of their own accord, or there is some kind of arrangement between HMA and angry forum administrators. There are no "courts" involved in this.

I still say this description of events is odd. There is something missing.

Anyways, I think StrongVPN is a better VPN anyways, because HMA's IP Addresses are more or less "static" and according to an online chat I had with StrongVPN's customer service, their IP's rotate about once a week. So you aren't using the same IP addresses over & over again, along with all the other spammers in the world. To my thinking, that's reason enough to make the switch. If it's true. Someone would need to verify they actually rotate the IP's out that quickly before making the switch, but that's what they guy said.

Yes I'm so afraid the spam police come to arrest me, lol.

B.Friendly, I can assure you there is nothing more to the story, if you look at the HMA forum you can see I'm not the only one it happened to, I don't know what there stories are, but mine is simply submitting with GSA and MS, nothing else.

    Here is some of them:
    Code:
    forum.hidemyass.com/index.php/topic/9874-vpn-account-disable/
    forum.hidemyass.com/index.php/topic/10673-you-have-disabled-my-account-i-would-like-to-know-why/
    forum.hidemyass.com/index.php/topic/9761-account-disabled/
    forum.hidemyass.com/index.php/topic/9336-i-have-been-charged-for-1-year-service-but-my-account-was-disabled/
EDIT: I got just got my account opened again, but I won't use them for submitting again.

He said this about the my comment:
In the first email he said my account was disabled because of "Several" spam complaints, first off, I don't how I suddenly get several when I didn't do anything different than what I used to, second, I wonder how many complaints it takes for getting an account disabled.

What VPN do you guys use / recommend ?
