Going to sell a website (first time ever) to a local bicycle shop here. Don't know the price yet but around $300-600 I guess.

So... What have you written on your brochure? About me, why they need this site so badly etc. My creativity fund in my brain is currently empty, and I am stuck. My english skills are limited aswell.
Mind helping me out here? What have you written?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,

There is a guy selling salesletters in the BST. Go there for some inspiration.

Remember to brand the shit out of it.

Checked on the thread. Haha can't afford that price for sure.. Not at the moment at least. Doing this because my bank account is empty :(. If anyone want to share something for free... You are welcome to do so :)

What I do is I check out my competitor's web sites. Most of them have a ton of generic info which all businesses in that niche have one way or another. Copy paste and modify to suit your offerings. Try running a search on the big G the term "web development services", you'll get a ton of people who are offering the same service as yo.

What SuperDuran said, do some reconnaissance!

Reverse roles for a second. You own a business, a bicycle business to be exact. What would you like your new website to do for your business? Got a few ideas? Generalize them (if you plan on mass printing this brochure) or go into more detail (if you will have multiple brochures for different niches/businesses) Crap, I got to work on my own brochures now that I think about it!

Be sure to get a hand written testimonial from them once the job is finished. You can use that as more ammunition for your next client to help break the ice.
