I intend to hire a content writer to write articles for a niche affiliate site, however he wants to reuse the content that I will commission him for doing.

Is this something to be suspicious of ?? as I am concerned about him stealing my idea for my niche affiliate site by googling the wording and work out what they have written it for.

Reuse it how? Does he want to put it in his portfolio or what?

Tell him you want full rights handing over once completed. The articles must be unique to you. If not, use a different writer.

If it's for a portfolio, then you could agree to give him / her a review.

Reuse the content, like, for other websites? I'd say no.

Sounds like he wants to sell your work to other unsuspecting customers or bundle articles to sell on fiverr. Go to iwriter and ditch him

Oh no, he wants to use the material that i am paying to write, either for his own sites, or to rebundle for other clients.

its not for a portfolio. there is no point asking him for full rights at this point, he is untrustworthy, so will use a different writer.
