    hi there,

google: I have been tracking a number of competing websites in the business of tourism and it 's pretty much same old same old month after month after month - everyone stays in the same place, same page.

    until today.

one site has jumped from number 49 to 9 overnight.

this has never ever happened before, the only changes to the index page are as follows (second segment of code, in larger font). not so much changes, more like a normal php error message but you never know:

GOOGLE POSITION 49 FOR 'ROME TOURS'

I would agree with "theartfuldodger" linkwheels (or whatever they are using) for external links. The true test is what's their position after some time passes.
