I am trying to compare the earnings from certain articles. Hopefully this will help us all out by being able to pinpoint high paying topics

The most I actually got paid for was this http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1034270/starting_your_own_web_hosting_company.html?cat=3 with a whopping $4.21

But that is like 2,400+ words long...

Strangely enough, http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1080499/top_5_ways_to_avoid_being_pickpocketed.html?cat=7 which I basically rewrote from another site got $4.06

It is like 1/4th the length and got only a quarter less

Opinions?

AC payment will mostly depend on the quality and popularity of the topic of the article you are submitting. Try to write article on current hot topics and you will crack the AC code definitely. I have done this and I am getting consistently close to $4.

Woah, $4? AC is a ripoff! You are all wasting your time.

Yeah, it depends on the quality and the longevity. I've done some seasonal articles for the fun of it, but they did not get paid much, because they said they will not be applicable year round.

My highest is $5.25 and the topic is SEO. The good thing is I've only outsourced the article rewrite for $0.60 and my clout level is only 1. This is very rare though. My average is $3.

I've heard that increasing your clout level will also increase the upfront payments that AC pays you. Just don't use traffic exchanges/PTC traffic in promoting your articles or you'll get banned.

I was wondering what that clout level thing was all about. My main account is at a 4 - not noticing any difference in article payouts though.

Highest article payout was somewhere around $4.70ish by the way.

Thanks for the information. I was thinking of ways to increase my clout level but I guess it's not worth it afterall.

In my experience, you can even find Americans or native english speakers who can write for $1 a piece in ge*tafre*elan*cer.c0m

Just indicate that your project will be for long term.

I submitted a few articles to em about 2 weeks ago and got an email saying they all were to similar to other articles or some bullshit. I guess they are trying to crack down on those of you who rewrite the same article 5 different times and try to submit them. Thanks for making it harder on the rest of us greedy asses lol.

I recently received $4.56 on an article that was only about 430 words about an upcoming electronic product. The lowest I received was $3.11 and it was like 350 words.

well i just flooded them with like 10-15 articles last night, lets see what happens

Its weird i got $4.24 for a shitty 400 word article translated from a french website but they rejected a well-rewritten 1000+ word article about insomnia (this topic is too broad or something). I think to some extent they judged my articles by the titles. So give your article an interesting title and you have less chances of the editor declining it for being too broad or whatever.
AC just gave me my first internet income btw. $26 for 9 articles, im happy :)

Just got an offer for $4.23 for my first article which took me 20 mins, not too bad.

I'll have a go at speed writing some tomorrow and see how many different ones i can do in 3 hours, i'll aim for 15 or so basic, then submit them.

Actually might start now. Hmmm. 5 now, 10 tomorrow.

And shelves - ayes, $50 a day for not much work is always nice ;)

I like reading these success stories, so keep em coming! :)

I prefer outsourcing my articles rather than writing them by myself. But for those of you who prefer writing your own articles, here are some ebooks that might help you write articles faster.

Article Speed Writing
Rewrite PLR Under 7 Minutes
Write Like a Maniac

You can also combine the concepts here with DNS to make your life easier.

good call on those books, people here could use them.

i don't use AC as my main income, i just write in my spare time to literally waste it while im waiting for stuff, so i don't really want to speed up.

I have 3 hours between arrangements tomorrow, so thats 9 articles or so, at $4 each thats an easy $36 for my time. adds up over the weeks!
