With the new panda updates rolling out, and the overwhelming deindexation of homepage backlink networks, ALN type networks, and so on...I feel that the game is starting to change completely.

With that being said, I'm going to build up my health site into an extremely large authority site, but only posting high quality, well-resarched, newsworthy content to it, without building any links whatsoever..

I know this might sound like a stupid idea, but first let me explain to you what has been going on with the site...

I started really building the site a couple weeks back, and have been posting about an average of 4 pages a day to the site of really high quality content, that i got from highqualitywriting that really helps people and strives to solve a problem, with keyword options. By doing just this, I have managed to bring in about 40 unique visitors per day to the site, with zero link building. (I have created Twitter accounts and a Facebook page to the site, though, as this is almost necessary to been seen as important).

Previously i had used elance, but it hasnt got copyscape built in to elance, and they can pretty much send you anything, this site is great.

The traffic that I am seeing from Analytics is 91% unique, and already being spread over hundreds of different keywords...keywords that I never would have thought of trying to rank for.

My goal with this case challenge is to bring in thousands of visitors per day to my site without building any links, and to test whether or not what Matt Cutts says, and what Google advises, are both things worth doing. So far, it appears as if my site is being rewarded for my efforts.

Ill give you further updates on how it goes.

Backlinks building is still necessary but make it look natural.

I think you have missed the point. He is doing an experiment to see if he can rank without doing any link building.
