I wanted to know, the access I get shows http proxy; if I want to use it as a HTTP proxy, should I just add https in the front, or for HTTP, the port, id, and password will be different?

You should select HTTP for the proxy and then you can connect to HTTPS websites through it. Your traffic will still be encrypted.

Okay, got it. Thank you. So it means people can see what websites I am visiting, but since the https website is encrypted, whatever password I put, it will be still encrypted right?

Yes, exactly. Your traffic still goes through an encrypted tunnel to the target website meaning no one on your network can see your data, nor can we. The only thing we can see if your HTTP METHOD i.e GET, POST CONNECT and the host you are visiting i.e google.com
