I'm not one to promote services that I don't believe in and use myself. I've been looking for a proxy dealer that could accommodate my needs as a white hat and black hat marketer and have talked (or tried to talk) to many different companies over the years. Like many of you, I've had some very bad experiences in the past and have become a bit gun-shy about buying anonymous proxies.
Recently a good friend who does a considerable amount of search engine scraping recommended that I look up a company called PacketFlip. The website was well-designed and the prices were right in line with what I expected to pay for high-quality proxies. However, I stopped myself mid-order and decided to wait to see if I could talk with somebody at PacketFlip before I ordered. Within a few minutes I received a reply email and was soon talking with the owner of the company, Jonathan, about his services.
He answered all of my questions directly and was not shy about his relationship with the black hat community. He seemed to understand why somebody might be a little hesitant to buy proxies and we talked about some ideas that I have for new projects. Ten minutes or so into our conversation he offered to let me test some of his proxies. They were fast, they worked when he said they would work, and I was able to test them while I was talking with him.
We talked a little bit more about bulk purchases and the technical specifics of his proxies and then I made my first order with him. Within 5 minutes of completing the order form, I received an email with a large list of unique, password-protected HTTP proxies. After giving them a quick check, I dropped them into an application I'm in the process of developing and ... unlike so many times in the past, they worked. Every single one of them. They're as fast as they were before.
Every time.
Aside from quality, one of my biggest issues with a majority of proxy dealers is their slow customer support, if they have any at all. I have had the complete opposite experience with Jonathan and Packet Flip. I asked him this morning if he would mind if I wrote a little blurb here about his business and he said not at all and asked me if I wanted to set myself up as an affiliate. I asked him if he could just create a coupon for an equal amount so I could share his service with you guys at a discount.
The URL is:
You'll get $10.00 off of your first month if you use that code at checkout. This offer is only valid for members of BHW.
Don't forget to ask him to test out a proxy! Aside from the customer service, the proxies speed is really what convinced me of their value.
Here are some other ways to contact him:
