Just browsed the highPRsociety homepage and it says they aren't accepting new clients right now. You can opt-in on an e-mail list to be informed when there is a spot free.

Also they seem to quit providing reports of where the links are placed. Good for the network, bad for me as a service seller as people like to see reports.

To the owners of high pr society: Will you do more effort to get our links indexed cause we can't take care of that ourselves anymore when there are no reports.

Sounds like High PR Society has gotten some of their websites deindexed. Why else would they do this?

I can understand them closing signups but cutting off reports is hard to digest.

I'm sure it is a lot safer for the network but how do we know if all our links are going out or not anymore?

They say out of pre-caution. None of my rankings dropped and the sample of 260 links that I placed 6 weeks ago still remain the exact same 40% index rate like 2-3 weeks ago.

Same here, I have over 2000 article links in there for myself and several clients. None of the sites dropped in the rankings. The only thing I hate about this is that they also quit showing where the homepage links are. While these are pretty expensive so I would like to know for sure they are still there.

I saw a post by them yesterday that said their network has not been hit, but they are closing to new members for "defensive" purposes since networks, in general, have had some problems lately.

I use them and have not seen any evidence of a problem yet.

They are doing the work they say and they have provided links in the past so not a huge deal for me.

From a service provider point of not report makes sense.

So does closing the network - sometime there is more backlog than your infrastructure can handle. You have a responsibility to ensure product quality for current clients before you build out.

Forgot to write the url's of the homepage links down :)

Besides that I will still use their service like I always did ofcourse, the rankings proof that it works.

I also think it makes sense not to give away the links and I also like that they closed the regs :) I think the indexing will become fast with time

Sounds like a good change IMO (since I'm a member already).
Always felt like th idea was good but the network was too "open" and LQ.

I never bought into the blog networks simply because Google would have eventually came down hard on them. Even if now is not the case, I'm still wary of investing so much money into something that can be deindexed with one Panda update.

I noticed that today as well.
I think it is a smart move by them to preserve the network.
I am going to start a new campaign using their network in few days, so il see how it goes:)

Given why they're closing the network do you really want them to answer that on a public forum?

Lots of reasons, like preventative measures to ensure they don't get de-indexed, but go you for jumping to a conclusion with no evidence.

If you don't believe they are, or trust that they are then don't use them, it's that simple. I think their reputation deserves a bit of slack cutting here.

Good call IMHO guys, way to show that keeping your current clients happy is more important than increrasing turnover.

They mentioned one network closed down? Does anyone know which one that was?

Wow.. thread is blowing up. :)

To answer all concerns, we update PR on the network weekly. Typically 20 or 30 sites move up and down, usually in equal numbers. We have had no sites drop to NA/grey bar since we've opened. BUT we fully expect that to happen and are ready.

We have around 600 PR sites on standby that we haven't added to the network. Should something bad happen then we'll do that. The network is at about 70% capacity now with the current amount of sites and users on board.

As a SEO I really, really regret not being able to share this information any longer. But it is the best thing to do right now. So many networks have gotten torched and I'd rather close to new users than run this into the ground.

We're still applying the same "magic sauce" to keep links getting crawled and link juice flowing into interior pages. EVERY site gets THOUSANDS of crawls a day, so I'm not worried at all about that.

Judge us by results, just like you do every other service. We were totally and fully open for a long time but we need to go underground. :)

Hey guys, there were rumors of 5 major ones that went down and it freaked us out. You can check out trafficplanet.com to hear the rumors. I know that 2 of the owners of some big ones came out and said that it wasn't true.

I am going to take their word for it and don't want to spread any disinformation that may hurt them, if indeed it is just rumors. But truth is Google is smacking some people and we want to protect our customers.

You know us, we have always been open, but we have your best interest at heart and you just have to trust us and go with our track record. We will always be totally upfront and honest with you guys.

I want to say I'm really to see you guys supporting our decision and trusting it. It means a lot and this is the reason I'm so proud to have the customers we have, you guys are amazing and is the reason we work so hard to try to give you the best. Thanks again, nothing is set in stone, we will evolve as needed to maintain efficiency and protection.

You can visit trafficplanet.com and do some searches. After talking to some owners, alot are denying it and saying it is only rumosr so I don't want to give names in case it truly is only a rumor.

I would hate to hurt their business based on some misinformation.

After thinking about it, I think you've taken a great decision... for now at least. I'd rather not see the links in a report than have them vaporized. :)
