High pr low da or low pr high da - which is better?

    Its very rare to get a high PR (page rank) domain with a high DA (domain authority)

    so if you have the choice, to use the domain as a buffer to your money site which do you feel will be better

    HIGH PR LOW DA OR LOW PR HIGH DA

    I tend to trust DA more, as its a more up to date metric- page rank can take months to update. I also look at the backlink profile, citation and trust flow, moz rank etc.

    If you're looking to buy a domain to use as a buffer site, the above measures of backlink profile are much more important than PR - it's very easy to be misled with just the PR and pay much more for a domain than its worth.

    PR is as a dead as a dodo a flawed metrics of very little relevance circa 2013...

    One thing PageRank is still useful for is indicating a penalty, however since it hasn't been updated in so long its not very good at this anymore.
