Hey all, if I want to dilute down my anchor text ratio is it ok to send, say, 100 HIGH PR (PR3+) comments to my site (drip-fed) if its about 8 months old?

100? Depends on your traffic and how many other links you get. If even 10% of your links incoming are comments it may be high in my opinion. But some ARE good for diversity. Just be SURE they are indeed high quality with diverse anchors and linking to different pages of your site. Not all one anchor to home page.

From our tests across 5 sites High PR Blog comments added almost no value in SERP. But what we found interesting was if you place a article in place of comment (even if the obl is high) it shows positive movements be it nofollow/********.

I wouldn't say I've ever seen gains directly from adding comments either. I do them in the belief that they help me avoid a penalty from overuse of PBN or SAPE links.

You can use blog comments, but they will most likely be nofollow links. To make your link profile look natural, post the comments only on related sites.
