Hey y'all. Just started really using Skype, to conference with some overseas contractors about some more involved projects. Everytime one of them is online, I get a pop up window telling me (since they are in my contacts). One of them is a young man from a poor country, who has commented on my "young sounding voice" (I'm female, and probably old enough to be his mother. Fortunately, I had my video turned off, I would not cut it "on webcam" 15 lbs too weighty for a MILF :p).

I assume my contacts are getting pop up windows about my online status. I think I have my privacy settings as tight as possible, but how can I make sure that the online status is blocked? I'm not sure I want everyone knowing when I'm online working (which is all the time!) He seems a nice enough young man who does good work, but, I'm not really available as a green card sugar momma!

Block them with the appropriate option. You can unlock them at a later time from Settings.

Thank you Sir Gold! Good idea, just block 'em when I'm not in the mood to chat about business.
