    Hey guys,

We have a website where we can promote their affiliate link at a very good percentage and have started to promote it through your usual places.

Google base jumped out and i when i was trying to submit to it i couldn't use affiliate links.

I did some research and found this website explaining it but couldn't really relate it to my situation.

    (we have root access)

    or..

    http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum92/2078.htm

Our affiliate link as it stands is:
    http://www.OurAffiliateSite.com/ind...com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&product_id=1&aff_id=1

Do you think Google base will be able to notice the aff_id=1?

How can i use the .htaccess file to change my url to the following or something samiliar?

    http://www.OurAffiliateSite.com/Goo...&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&product_id=1&

    I dunno.....

    I hope you can help!

Oh i've just had a thought....

From looking at google base i could add a feed...

Virtuemarts products have feeds..... any idea if its better to manipulate the feed, then submit? if so how do i do it.

If the rewrite 301 or something is easier then lets please take that root!

    Thanks!
