Hide Affiliate Link in Email?

I was thinking of hitting CL using the auto responder method. I was wondering, is it safe to put the direct link to the CPA offer in the email or should it be a link to your site with a meta refresh to the CPA offer? I always wondered how incoming links from emails are viewed in stats.

yeah just go to cloakedlink.com it automatically cloaks your aff link with a meta refresh.

but does it have to be cloaked? If the visitor clicks www.bangsomebabes.com and then redirects to www.sin*gl*esnet.*com I would think they would leave.
