    1. Gather the file you wish to bind, and the image file, and place them in a folder. For example I will be using C:\bhw

The image we will be using an example will be bhw.jpg

    2. Add the file/files you will be injecting into the image into a WinRar .rar or .zip. From here on this will be referred to as (yourFile.rar)

    3. Open command prompt by going to Start > Run > cmd

    4. In Command Prompt, navigate to the folder where your two files are by typing : cd location = eg: cd C:\bhw

    5. Type

    Code:
    copy /b bhw.jpg + secret.rar bhw.jpg
    LOL and you are done...

In order to view/extract your file

1 Change the file extension from bhw.jpg to *******, then open and your file is there
    2. Leave the file extension as is, right click, open with WinRar and your file is there..

its was discovered back, but may be it still interests someone :)...

Ah yes, the joys of Steganography.

I remember learning about that when I heard the rumor that terrorists were using it to send secret messages by posting images on eBay...

    Makes you wonder...

Should we be looking in all of these "big" jpgs for something most don't "see"? :wizard:

This is not steganography.. in steganography the payload is encrypted and interspaced with the original file so that it cant be detected. The DOS copy command is simply concatenating the 2 files toegther and a cursory look with a hex editor is enough to figure this out. With proper steganograhy you wouldn't detect the payload
