Hi BlackHat Members,
My name is Mandy, I'm new to registering on Black Hat but have used this site for many years. So much great information for someone like me who is self taught at everything they do. When you work on a computer everyday since 2005, tend to grow a bit stale with ideas. I also own many adults sites so finding the right people to network with and trade ideas to help grow my own ideas have been a struggle. Black Hat has always been there when I needed to learn things and read about others experiences on thing's they've tried. I usually don't do forums, but this is one forum that's worth the effort for me.
I would love to throw out ideas and be able to have quality discussions about them as well as be there for any advice I can give. I currently am my own designer/coder for my sites as well and design for a couple of other companies that Ive helped get started along the way. I didn't go to school for coding or design, I just realized I was much better at talking to a computer then humans when working. In 2005 was when I opened my first adult site and from there it grew. we mostly offer phone sex but I've been learning more about affiliates over the past year so I have a couple affiliate cam sites as well. I have a handful of non sex sites but they aren't profitable like my adult sites.
Over the years I've learned how to basically do everything on my own, but this has become a issue. I learned how to build, design, & market not because I wanted to but because I had higher expectations then what i was paying for over the years and tried many different companies. I just wanted excellent work not late subpar so i had to learn how to do it myself. the issue is I am only one person and everything I have is amazing but it could go to the next level I just need to read and learn from others who have went through the same thing and that's what I'm here to do.
I'm also here to help and assist anyone who has ever been in my shoes and don't just have the local adult webguy to help them with issues or questions. Sometime issues that happen with adult sites are so unique so finding people who get it feels impossible! It can be a simple question or the hard ones but from my past experience this forum usually has experience with almost all problems so thank god it's here! Thanks for the experience people share on here and I hope I can do the same. Mandy
