count me in ! But what next ?
Sorry to say but I have never heard of your brand before. I am a 22 year old uni student so take that as you will. The closest store to me is Nerang, Southport but I usually prefer going to Robina because it is closer. Anyway I certainly would apply but I don't think I have enough experience in SEM or E commerce to be worth while.
That being said I thought I might offer my thoughts, having a quick look at your site I wouldn't be surprised if you were hit with over optimization penalty, particularly with your store locations.
On this page culturekings.com.au/stores you have all four locations squeezed in there, normally I would say it might be good for visitors but I don't think most people would bother to scroll down too much (Also the small text looks a bit strange. I would suggest to make it a bit bigger to make it easier to read but this can cause problems accross the different browsers eg Explorer, Chrome, firefox etc.). In addition to this they have their own page (which is the better way to go IMO). Those aren't a huge deal though since you are already indexed in google but the one thing I don't like about the site is the "blog" not nearly enough of the right content (ie engaging/interesting). Maybe you could turn it into a bit more of fashion focus blog instead of a PR blog like most companies do.
One final note is to do a lot more local marketing. You only have one google review which is one word from either a very poorly done profile or most likely a fake one. You have 1 review on yelp which rates you 3 stars (yelp is a blody extortion site anyway but if the average customer saw that online it will effect their opinion). I would plan out strategies to help build goodwill for your company asap, all it takes is one bad customer with a bad experience to go online and trash your name and you will be badly effected.
So to sum up: your probably getting hit with over optimization penalty for store locations but since it is a brand name it doesn't really matter, the blog is not really interesting nor engaging and get started on building your brand asap particularly online.
Having just reread what I was about to post (can't tell you how many times that has saved my ass ) I was going to change how I worded things but I think I will leave it as is. Just know that what I said was not in anyway an attack on the brand in any way shape or form. I only offer my thoughts (and that is all they are) because in Australia it is extremely hard to start a small business, with the amount of legal work and how much extra you have to pay for overtime and double time not to mention pay employees supers, let alone taking a business and expanding it. While I don't want Australia to go the American route with business I do think a business succeeding helps the community and i really hope Culture Kings succeeds in their venture.
Best of luck for the future mate.
OP is new here, but good luck to everybody who hopes to land this "position".
looks good , i have sent you a private message. (my email address is in my email)
we are a team of two. we have good experience in SEM.
send me a email with your questions, queries.
I have the skills for this position and I am familiar with the brand. However, I have never purchased anything from the store, I think I would look weird in those cloths and frankly, I look like a lesbian in a singlet. That being said, what city is the position in? Also, would you consider a university student?t
Interesting. Well, wish you a warm welcome
to the forums & good luck in business.
Welcome mate to bhw
