Hi there, im a new user to these forums, and it seemed like a great community so i decided to join. Concerning Youtube, i have had one recent problem recently, one of my videos has been flaged (it wasnt violating any rules, it was about xbox halo) and i think i know who did it, because that person then re-uploaded my video into his account. Is there anything i could do? I tried contacting youtube but didnt got any response..

BTW, sorry for my horrid english. Greetings from Mexico!.

Just flag them back and delete your video and upload it again with a slightly different tittle

Just an opinion, not sure if it will work

wild1, i've already flagged his video, im just hoping it will get banned. Btw, do you know how much time does it take for it being deleted after being flaged?.. thx again..
 
YouTube staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to determine whether they violate Community Guidelines. It can happen after few seconds, after few minutes, hours and so one... It depends which possition you hold in the waiting line.
 
Did you flagged it with 'infringes My Rights'? This will help a lot if you did so could expect them to review it faster

really? about a month ago someone took one of my videos i personally made and i flagged it and got my friends to flag it for CR issues and it's still up ?
anything else they would look at it sooner for?


edit: mind you youtube shut my account down last week so i don't think it'll matter anyways nevermind *screams*

hmmmm maybe cuz you have an attitude...

and if you have a problem with them, sue them
 
Just watermark your vids with your url throughout the whole vid.

They can flag, steal, multiply, whatever they want...

It'll be your link they're spreading....

(happened to a couple of vids of mine....they watermarked it with their url only mine was bigger, more beautiful and easier to remember...LOL)
 
Yup, i should have watermarked the video. too bad i didnt..

Well, i've already flagged the video and its still up.. im not getting good vibes about this..
