Hi - aim was to get 1st page google - it worked and now its gone --- can anyone plz help

Hi - im really hoping someone can advise and let me know if what i have done is the correct way of doing things and how can i reach my goal.

My goal was to get a video ranked on page 1 of youtube.

1) I picked a keyword

i picked the keyword " finance " - about 30,00 searches per month

2) i chose video related to finance and used that as my video.

3) i placed finance in the title and also in the description as many times as possible.

4) i got some likes and some subscribers

5) have ordered some backlinks - not delivered yet

( i cant post the link here - how can i get it to you - can you search the channel "bananach1ps" inside youtube and it is the only video in there )

this video is just a random video i decided to try and test out so i have nothing to do with it

so i reached to PAGE 1 approx 6 hours ago but now i cant even find it.

where has the video gone - and how did it go page 1 and then disappear ?

i would really appreciate some advice on this...

dude the days of ranking for words like finance are gone you have to get more specific niche

can you explain a little further

why cant i use finance ?

well you arnt the first guy to want to rank for the word finance. sometimes google will return sites you frquent as a top search result based your visiting history. make sure you are clearing your cookies and cache or use a different browser to check those settings

agree with you..

OP, if you need to rank them, you need to have a lot of links sources..

i recommend getting links from blog posting services or you can join blog network..
for 2013, the key to rank is to diversify your link sources...
then build tier2s and tier3s..

nope what i mean is that i was ranked on page 1 in youtube search for about 4 hours . Now when i search in youtube search for finance my video doesnt even come up

1) why would i rank on page 1 on youtube for 4 hours and then disappear
2) where has it disappeared t0
3) how do i find out what page number i am on

i cant believe this as i was buzzing to be on page 1 and now its gone....plz can you kindly explain to me how this can happen and why ?

what method did you used on checking your rank?

i typed finance in on the youtube search and saw my video on page 1 - about 5th down ( i was on page 2 in the morning )

i tried this from other computers as well

and now i cant find it anywhere

i just went to youtube and typed ' finance ' in the search and i was about 5'th down the main videos

i also tried from a mates pc as well - so it wasnt something to do with me being logged in or anything like that

ive tried to get rank checker to see where my video features and the one i have doesnt even do youtube

do you know something which works coz at the moment i have no idea where my video is for the word finance

but for the word " finance make money " im on page 2

ALSO

also i have just checked but for the keyword finance someone has just had a video 4 hours old and only has 1 view and that is ranking on page 1 --- how is that possible ??

youtube gives top rank to brand new videos - its youtubes way of giving the video a chance to go viral - it quickly loses its position when youtube doesnt see any significant action that is consistent with other videos that go viral. thats why you have great rank at forst and then drop out of site quickly.

ive added it to hundreds of social medial bookmarking sites, have given it views, subscribers and comments - what more could i do ?

Good luck with the keyword "finance" do what you're doing for the next year or so and it might come back to top 10. Keyword is WAY to general to expect results in days/weeks.
