I've enjoyed my stay here for the last week, and thought I'd better introduce myself to BHW. Throughout my posts so far, I've said all of this, but I doubt much of anyone has seen it because there are many new posts all of the time.

I've been in the bulk business since 2000. When I started, I was making $50 a week. I was in high school, and my parents where being forced into loosing everything and living on the street, So I was desperate and found an on line crowd that shared their knowledge and we started to make VB 6.0 Winsock applications to connect to AOL and gather AOL emails with our bots cycling the chat rooms. We made this thanks to an AOL document that was released by a spammer on slash-dot "AOL Protocol" that explained how to connect to AOL and function. The group I hung out with where from AOL-Files (I'd be surprised if anyone here has heard of them) and they where very helpful. We got better at making these applications and getting around AOL's always changing system and after about a month of making $50-$1000 a week, we got into multi threading and started making $40k per month. One I graduated I made a little over $400,000 the following year selling mortgage leads and Pharmaceutical. Two years ago I only made $80k because these law's stated coming up and since I lived in the US, I got married, and I started to only make mailers for other spammers, and now I just live off of the residual income from my past spam and maintain my mailer/harvester/automation systems.
Last year I made over $100,000 with my spam applications. I figure making the programs, and selling them to serious bilkers is a better business than bulking myself.

And I find myself here enjoying seeing people trying to discover new methods, and getting around the system. :D
