Hey,
I just got offered to buy a YouTube account with 6,000 subscribers that are 99% Israelis ( my target country), it's 2 years old.
The content is a copyright from a news channel. It has one warning for copyright and is not monetize.

If I'll buy it I'll probably will delete everything and start from scratch. I'll produce fitness related content for Israelis. The subscribers are into news but the purpose is to get authority and not to start with an account with 0 subscribers.

There is something that I'm missing?
Is it worth the $250?

Thank you!

Try to negociate it to $200 then it will be acceptable.

Thank you very much for the answers.
Last question is that I'm going to delete all the videos in it because it's not related to my content and the videos are copyrighted.
Does it still worth it? Will I be able to monetize the videos after that?

Ik, now you post it here , the owner will as you different price haha

Honestly it is hard to put a price on it without testing it. Can you make your $250 back in less than 6 months with little to no work? If yes, then it is a no brainer :)

The content is copied from local news channel. I can't monetize it. The only thing I can do is remove the videos and remain with the subscribers and the channel's authority.

remember that deleting video = lost views = lost channel ranking authority in algorithm.

just private or unlist the videos after you buy them, to maintain the channel ranking authority.

Buy aged account if you don't have one, any aged could be 2014 or more down, it's fine.

Start uploading your content and pay YouTube ads for hot keywords and spend $250 there, it will take a while.

Do not use it for every video and every keyword, but only for hot keywords you can't rank #1 or near, something that makes sense. (test=gold)

You'll need a bit of researching and success should be bigger than going with 6k another niche who might be coming into your video just for a couple of sec, unsubscribing and so on.

If you delete the old unrelated videos, you will lose the views.
Why not private them not all at once but maybe start uploading your new videos while slowly putting some of the old videos in private?
Let your subscribers know of the changes and be familiar with the new videos.
Also, try to negotiate it down to $200 maybe?
Goodluck man!
